Coaches, Players and Friends all came together last night for the dedication of the Logan Whittenburg Baseball Field. Jimmy Hawk’s Welding and Energy Meter Systems created the sign that was unveiled at the beginning of the ball game last night.
One of Logan’s little brothers, Beau Whittenberg, threw the first pitch to start the game. The Whittenberg family, Austin, Hannah, Beau, and Maverick, believed they were only there to throw out the pitch. They had no idea about the naming of the field.
The baseball team plays under the direction of OK Kids but through the CVL (Cimarron Valley League). They are considered 12U which is called the Midgets.
