HENNESSEY STUDENTS QUALIFY FOR STATE FESTIVAL
The State Hymn Keyboard Festival was held at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma on February 22, 2020. This State Keyboard Festival is associated with the Oklahoma Baptist University School of Fine Arts.
Students who performed at the Reginal Festival in Enid, Oklahoma on January 25 and received superior ratings to qualify for the State Festival were as follows…
Category I – Tuesday Partee, Kyzer Hutsler, Hudson Lack, JoHanna Matousek, Jessica Matousek, Julianna Matousek and Kolton Van
Category II – Jocelyn Matousek,
Category IV – Dalton Ebert
Category V – Allison Ferrell
At the State Festival, Kyzer Hutsler placed 2nd overall in category I and Allison Ferrell placed 2nd overall in category V. Tuesday, Hudson, JoHanna, Jessica, Julianne, Kolton, Jocelyn and Dalton all received honorable mention. All are students of Janice Semrad.
