At a special meeting (February 7th) the Hennessey Board of Trustees voted to enter an inter-local cooperation agreement with the Hennessey Public Schools to provide a school resource officer. Hennessey Police officer Aaron Pitts will be the dedicated school resource officer while Dale Pazzo, the full time school resource officer, is out on medical leave. Officer Pitts is D.A.R.E. certified and will be working with students in this education program in the school system.
