THIS WEEK ALL ABOUT HENNESSEY RECOGNIZES ROSE SMITH – HENNESSEY SEPTIC TANK SERVICE AS OUR WOMAN IN BUSINESS. Rose Hutchison Smith grew up in Hennessey and married her 5th grade school sweetheart Eric Smith in 1980. Eric, a full time firefighter at Vance Airforce base was looking for a business of his own and bought Hennessey Septic Tank Service in November of 2006. Rose, still raising their 4 children became the office manager of the new business. As the family grew, 2 of the boys Preston and Auston, joined the family business and added services to their offerings. Rose said, “Now, in addition to pump outs of septic tanks, we are certified to install septic systems, aerobic systems and have recently added porta-potties.” What started with one truck has evolved into a fleet of tank trucks and service trucks.
