Graveside services for Larry Maddox, 80 will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday December 31, 2019 at Hennessey Cemetery pavilion officiated by Vernon Racer. Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
Larry was born south of Drummond on June 26, 1939 to Roy V. and Minnie L. Goodpasture Maddox and died Thursday December 26, 2019 southwest of Hennessey.
He married Carolyn Roberts in Hennessey on June 4, 1960.
Larry is survived by his wife Carolyn of the home; one son Terry Maddox and wife Sheri Ann; one daughter Melissia Mead; five granddaughters Staci Maddox, Kelci Gregory, Brandi Holder, Jessica Mead, Ashlyn Mead, and five great-granddaughters Kinslee Holder, Addi Holder, Ava Gregory, Isabella Mead, and Gracie Mead.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother.
Memorial donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
