A large brush fire 1 ½ north of Lacey, kept Hennessey Firefighters busy tonight. The fire was reported about 7pm tonight (Sunday). The firefighters were dealing with very high winds and lighting in the area as a strong front moved through. Ames and Okeene fire departments assisted, sending water tankers to keep up with the water demands.
