EAT-IT-UP AS OUR WOMEN IN BUSINESS
Traci grew up in Chandler Ok, Class of ‘89! She moved to Hennessey after graduation to help her aunt (Faye and Tim Taggart) with the family business. She met her husband and stayed.
Before Eat it Up, most of Tracy’s work history was for Braum’s Ice cream and Dairy stores. She spent 22 years with Braum’s working her way up and became a District Manager. Her territory included the Oklahoma Panhandle, Northwest Ok and Southern Kansas. Tracy decided around 40 it was time for a change. Her son was going to college and it was now or never to open her own business!
Tracy never stops creating. Eat It Up is a full service restaurant, and recently she added the Eat It Up Banquet Hall. She caters reunions, anniversary parties, host events (Tipsy artist is Oct 13), she makes cakes, pies, baked goods, special orders, keto friendly meals as well as takeout meals. She also delivers food to some people who are unable to get out, and is happy to help! Tracy’s business employs 10 hardworking people.
Tracy almost never stops, and has plans to redo the front area in the fall to make more like a small market, with floral and gifts and a cold weather and DIY coffee, and Hot Chocolate bar to go with donuts, cinnamon rolls etc. She is also looking at doing crock pot meals and pantry meals and will have gluten free options as well as keto. Tracy loves Hennessey and all the people she meets daily.
Eat it Up’s hours recently changed to Mon-Thurs and Saturday 6am to 3pm Friday 6am to 9pm and Sunday Banquet Hall Only Buffet 10:30 to 1:30. –
