HENNESSEY
The funeral for Viola Olive Peach, 91 will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday May 14, 2019 at First Christian Church officiated by Rev. Drew Kirtley. Burial will follow at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
Viola was born on the family farm at Marshall on May 2, 1928 to Anton and Marie Bradza Kusik and died Friday May 10, 2019 at the Commons in Enid.
She married Henry L. Peach at Marshall on April 2, 1947. Viola attended First Christian Church.
She is survived by two daughters Gloria Metcalf and husband Verne of Alva, Peggy Dailey of Tulsa; one son John Peach and wife Carol of Hennessey; seven grandchildren Andrea Metcalf, Kristen Albiar, John Dailey and wife Karin, Matthew Dailey and wife Kali, Caitlin Black and husband Mike, Gina Esau and husband Jason, Derek Peach and wife Rhonda, and ten great-grandchildren.
Viola was preceded in death by her husband Henry, six brothers and one sister.
In lieu of flowers the family has chosen Hospice Circle of Love, First Christian Church, or Hennessey Senior Citizens Center for donations to be made in her memory with the funeral home serving as custodian.
