Last week the Hennessey Firefighters responded to a car fire at 4T’s Family Market. The car was fully engulfed when they arrived and was a total loss. The car owner, Peggy Stears, who works at 4T’s, was devastated. Coworker Denise Tunstall quickly went to work and started a Go Fund Me campaign. It raised over $1,370 in just a few days. Tunstall said, “We live in a wonderful small town. We raised enough money to get Peggy a new car in just a few days.” The car was presented to Peggy Friday night. Crying, Peggy said, “Is this mine? I can’t believe it! Thank you so much!” Peggy’s new car is a 2006 Honda Civic.
