Rhonda Stotts grew up in Meeker, Oklahoma and graduated from Wellston High School in 1993. Pryor to purchasing Rooster’s restaurant in November
2017, Rhonda and her husband Robert, worked on the family farm. Besides Rhonda and Robert, their children are also involved in this family business.
Her son Craig, works as a cook and Anna helps out as a waitress. Rooster’s was already famous for its fried chicken but the Stotts implemented some changes that made the chicken even better. They expanded the menu and worked to make the restaurant and bar more family friendly. Now, Rhonda and her family have 20 employees. They have added a full liquor bar, ribeye steak, pork chops, club sandwiches and a salad bar. Rhonda says she enjoys meeting new people that come in along with all the regulars that make Roosters what it is.
Rooster’s is open Monday-Thursday 11am-9pm,
Friday and Saturday 11am-10pm, closed Sunday
