In preparation for the big night on Friday the HHS Homecoming court paraded down Main St, on Thursday, Oct 5th to cheering crowds. Leading the parade was the award-winning Pride of Hennessey Band followed by an escort by the Hennessey Police, Fire, and LifeEMS while they rode in pickups and convertibles waving to the crowds. The Hennessey Eagles 7&8 grade football team rolled in riding a large army truck, followed by the JV team and cheerleaders and various other 4-wheelers and vehicles enjoying the parade. Jimmy Berkenbile was the MC for the parade announcing all of the names of the contestants and groups as they rolled by. After the parade, everyone gathered south of the football field for the bonfire celebration.
