EAGLES VS LUTHER SR NIGHT

The #4 ranked Eagles came into this game with a new 1000-point scorer, and an 18-3 record. Both changed for the better tonight as Jael Torres brought his total to 1016 and they finished the season 19-3. They had a very solid 1st quarter all things considered but lost the 2nd quarter and the game was close at halftime. It stayed like that for 10 minutes that 10 minutes being the 10 between the 2nd and 3rd quarters as the Eagles only allowed 1 point in the 3rd all the way down until they gave up a 2 at the end of the 3rd. They won that quarter 19-3, a lot on the back of the very hot James Sims, who had a great night, 10-18 from the field 2-4 from 3, and 23 points. Layton Choate had a double-double, finishing with 10 points and 11 assists. James, Jael, and Layton were the only 3 to score for over half of the game, and combined for just over 75% of the Eagles points. They closed with a 19-point 4th quarter. The final score was Hennessey Eagles 64 – Luther Lions 38
