FIRST ANNUAL FIREFIGHTER WATER WAR!

The Hennessey Firefighters took to the streets last night to battle the brave citizens of Hennessey in a water fight. The Firefighters were armed with three brush trucks with about 500 gallons of water and ice-cold water balloons. As they traveled around the streets of the town, they encountered everything from garden hoses, water balloons, and fire hoses. The 100-degree temps made it the perfect summer night for this event, cooling off anyone in the path. The firefighters sprayed so much water they had to stop and refill the trucks at the halfway point. The original plan was to follow a route that went down a few main streets, but everyone was having so much fun they drove down almost all the streets in town.
