THE BEST A PERFORMANCE CAN RECEIVE
Saturday morning, every Hennessey duet and solo group led by Beth Berkenbile, earned a rating of SUPERIOR (the best a performance can receive) at OSSAA Solo & Ensemble District Contest. Berkenbile said, “I’m so glad their hard work and dedication has been recognized. Even with bad weather keeping us apart a week or so ago… when we got back in school it was apparent they had worked with an end goal in mind.”

2 duets – Ashland Crites / Jaden Matthews and Jayden Hladik / Jenna Hladik,

6 solos – Juniors: Ashland Crites (daughter of Rob & Sherri Crites) and Jaden Matthews (daughter of Steve & Kim Matthews);

8th graders: Brooklyn Harris (daughter of Bradley & Mary Harris); Jayden Hladik & Jenna Hladik (daughters of Kaleb & Lisa Hladik)

7th grader: Jocelyn Matousek (daughter of James & Sarah Matousek)

High school students receiving Superior rating advance to State at which Ashland and Jaden will sing both their duet and solos before a judge in April.

Berkenbile is retiring at the end of this school year and said, “Thank you for reminding me why I have loved this job so much for the past 23 years. You are amazing!”
