SMALL TOWN LIVING HAS BENEFITS

Using a volunteer staff and help from the Hennessey CAT team, Roosters restaurant brought a Thanksgiving meal to many that may not have had one. Rhonda Stotts, Roosters owner, had an idea to open the restaurant and serve a home cooked dinner on Thanksgiving Day. Rhonda said, “Everyone volunteered to help, it was wonderful. We served a lot of people that dined in and carried out.” Jimmy Berkenbile rallied the Community Action Team to help deliver to anyone that could not get out. This included several that were quarantined with COVID and Hennessey Police officers working on the holiday.
