HELP FOR HONDURAS

On November 4th, 2020, the president of Honduras declared a state of emergency and established a code red alert for the entire country. The Honduran population has been greatly affected by the devastating effects of Hurricane Eta, and will continue to see its repercussions. Many communities are now isolated without food, water, and other supplies. It will be a long process to restore the required infrastructure to evacuate those in need.

Naomi Gomez is from Honduras from the city of El Progreso and is currently living in Oklahoma and attending Hennessey High School. Her family and friends are still living in Honduras. She is fundraising for her community to help those who were impacted by the hurricane.Naomi is coordinating with Para Vos Honduras which is a campaign of many Hondurans all around the USA coming together and collecting any and all types of donations! All these supplies will be shipped to their destination in Miami, Florida.

The funds from this fundraiser will go directly to the supplies and shipping. If for any reason you can’t donate money, Naomi is collecting donations such as: Non-perishable food, bottled water, clothing and blankets, personal hygiene products, Infant supplies such as formula and diapers. Call her for more information on the drop off point at (512) 971-1608 Donations can also be dropped of at 802 W Jack Choate Ave here in Hennessey!
