Yesterday afternoon at approximately 1:30pm, 2 vehicles collided head-on while crossing the Skeleton Creek Bridge 12 miles east of Hennessey on Hwy 51. Both drivers were seriously injured and both were air lifted by Medi-Flight and Air Evac Lifeteam helicopter services. Hwy 51 was closed for several hours while the wreck was cleared. The OHP was assisted by Hennessey Fire Department, Life EMS, Crescent Police and Marshall Fire Department. No details were available and victim’s identity or condition and will not be released until all next of kin could be notified.
