Anna Ferrell grew up in Nocona, a small town in Texas. She attended Abilene Christian University where she met her husband Charles, both biology majors. After settling in Hennessey, Dr. Anna, DDS and Dr. Charles Ferrell, MD operated the Hennessey clinic while raising their four children.
The Garden’s Edge Flower shop, located in the historic bank building, became available. Anna decided it was time for a change and set out to start her new career as a small business owner.
Anna loves baking, cooking, and decorating so it was a perfect fit! Since opening Annie’s Flower House in December 2018, she remodeled the kitchen, and is always looking for new ideas to make her menu even better. Future plans include working to utilize the second floor of the building.
Anna says that her bestselling items are chicken & rice soup, chicken salad, coconut cream pie and of course, flowers! Dr. Anna encourages you to come and try them for yourself! She says that she would like Annie’s Flowerhouse & Gifts to also be used for parties and small gatherings such as for showers, birthday parties, etc.
Hours are from 8:30-5:00 Monday through Friday.
